Design

Once all elements in the concept design are agreed with the client, the project moves to the Detail Design and Specification stage. Every element of the scheme is designed and specified for the client to sign-off. Samples are presented for discussion and client approval. As part of the detail design stage minc will provide the following services:

The following detail design packages are available:

• Door & window schedules • Bathroom elevations, including sanitaryware specifications & tiling layouts • Electrical layouts, including electrical fitting specifications • Ceiling layouts, including details for bulkheads & light troughs • Cornice specification & drawings, in conjunction with the ceiling layouts • Lighting layouts, including internal & external light fitting specifications • Kitchen layouts, including plumbing & electrical • AV / technology layouts • Floor finishes layouts, including specifications & tiling layouts, showing setting out points • Wall finishes layouts, including wallpaper specifications, paint colours & any specialized items (such as timber or stone cladding) • Shopfitting / built-in furniture drawings & details for cupboards, kitchen & bathroom vanities etc. • Ironmongery specifications (door handles, locks, cupboard handles etc.) • Fireplace specifications • Individual furniture specifications (including any drawings for bespoke pieces) • Fabric selections & samples • Accessory recommendations (including art, rugs, freestanding lamps, mirrors & smalls) • Window treatments & recommendations (curtains / blinds)
